After interviewing Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze, I decided to climb into the ring at Flatbacks, the wrestling school they own in Apopka, FL. This wasn't my first time, I actually began training to be a pro wrestler in 2003 when I was still attending Wilfrid Laurier University. After a few months of training there, I realized I couldn't do both wrestling school and pursue my college education, so I had to make a difficult decision and I stuck with my Communication Studies degree.
Every time I am near a ring now, I always have the itch to get in. So after taking a few bumps, running the ropes and locking up with Shawn Spears I took a few chops. Actually, I took more than a few chops. I took two chops from each of the students at Flackbacks and then two more from Spears and Breeze for a total of 20 chops.
To answer a few questions:
Yes, this was my idea.
Yes, I'm totally ok.
It took about 6 days for the red marks to go away completely.
Yes, Shawn, Tyler and Peyton are awesome.
And yes, I can't wait to see what the students at Flatbacks do after they graduate!
